Dreams will come true

Hello all,

 I hope you are all having a wonderful day. I am truly blessed. I am here today to tell you dreams will come true if you believe and have dedication.  When I say dreams will come true. I am only speaking from experience.

One of my dreams was to work in the medical field.
I have now been in the medical field for over 22 yrs. I have learned so much within these last 22 years.

Second dream was to live somewhere other than where I was born.
This dream came true 6 yrs ago when I relocated to Tampa, FL from Columbus, Ohio.

I will tell you dreams come true when you speak your dreams into existence and believe. You must be willing to claim and accept. You must be willing to do whatever it takes to accomplish your dreams.

Do not limit yourself. Also do not allow others to tell you not to aim high for your dreams.

Success does not happen over night. You must work until it has been mastered.

A letter to your 16 year old self. What advice would you give?

Hello all I hope today was great, it was an eye opener for me.  I came across something that had me thinking what would I say.  If I had an opportunity to write a letter to my 16 year old self. What advice would you give?

My Letter is as followed:

Dear Kimberly,

I am currently writing this letter to you just to instill a little knowledge you will need for your future.
Every pay check make sure you always save at least $50.00 to $100.00 just as a little back up cash in case of emergency.  I know you have been working since 13 yrs of age. The reason why I am telling you this now, in your future you will make some difficult financial decisions. This will help make sure you have some kind of savings. One more thing each increase make sure you give back for a greater good and save even more each time. You will truly thank me later. Good luck to you.

The hardest thing you’ve ever been through

Hello all, I hope you all had a wonderful day. Mine was blessed.

I come today with some words of encouragement for those who have been going through a ruff spell here lately. Just know that this ruff time in your life does not last forever. I must say life has thrown a lot my way. I have stayed standing. So today I will tell you about the hardest thing I have been through in my life. I was 21 yrs of age and I went through a time of double loss. My Great Grandmother who raised me as her own daughter and my Biological mother past away 4 months apart.

My mother was not a woman that could take care of her children which was truly sad.
I received a call from the ER at Grant Hospital advising me that my mother was in the hospital and someone needs to come my name was listed as contact. Not sure as to why since we really had no relationship. So I leave work head to the hospital. The doctor has already told her she is dying of Lung Cancer it has spread to the brain so she has not much time to live. So here I am sad and mad all at once since my mother never raised me and I am here to make sure she makes a smooth transition in to her death. So I had my mother switched to Hospice and she was moved to Nursing home. She past about 2 days after being in the Nursing home five days before Christmas. I never thought I would do any of these things for a woman who seemed to never really care for me. So to leave one sadness to prepare for another.

My Great grandma called a meeting not to long after my mother past to let us know she  only had about three months left. She advised us to start coming around and getting the items from the house. My best friend advised me to sit down with her and get all of the knowledge sge had to give to me and all of my black and white pictures because that is my past relatives. She left in April a week after her birthday.

I was in a state of confusion at that time. What I know now is that we are all made to fulfill our purpose in life. Seek to find your purpose in life. Do not wait until it is too late. Cherish everyday.

Safe Families Representing

Hello all,

I am hoping you are all having a blessed day. I know that I am definitely blessed. I just want to share a wonderful organization that I am a part of called Safe Families for children. I am reaching out today to make everyone aware of ways to give back to the community. I am a Safe Families Host mother, this means I help families who are in need of a care giver for their children due to the following:

• Sudden unemployment or loss of housing 
• Financial difficulties 
• Postpartum depression 
• Acute illness or hospitalization 
• Financial instability 
• Domestic violence 
• Drug or alcohol addiction 
• Incarceration of one parent

This is such an amazing blessing to be able to share in helping a family reunite after a hard time. Please if you know anyone who may need this type of assistance please share with them. Anyone wanting to become a Host Family as well.
